We are a community-founded nonprofit operating out of the For Oak Cliff Community Campus on East Ledbetter, in the neighborhood we are named after. Our work is dual-generation: we believe a community moves forward when children and the adults who raise them are learning at the same time, in the same place. On any given week that looks like early language development for infants and toddlers, GED courses for adults, free swim lessons in the only free pool in the superblock, a DJ program for teenagers, and a food distribution that feeds hundreds of families.

Since 2015 we have grown from a single back-to-school festival into an independent 501(c)(3) with our own campus, a $10 million capital campaign, and thousands of neighbors who walk through our doors each year. Our ten-year vision is a superblock where the school-to-prison pipeline has been replaced by a cradle-to-career pathway.
